Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply when you use Pitch Finder, the free web tool at roofpitchfinder.com (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

What this tool is

Pitch Finder is a free camera-based helper that overlays roof-pitch guide lines (1/12–18/12) so you can estimate a roof slope. Measuring does not require an account or payment.

After you select a pitch, you may optionally request a free metal building quote through a short lead form. That form is optional; you can measure without submitting anything.

Not professional advice

Pitch readings are approximate visual estimates. They are not a survey, engineering analysis, building permit, or professional design service. Always confirm measurements with a qualified contractor or engineer before buying materials or building.

Quotes and leads

If you submit the quote form, you ask the site operator to contact you about a metal building quote. Submitting does not guarantee a price, availability, or that someone will call within a set time. Quotes, if provided, are separate from this free measuring tool.

Acceptable use

Please use the Site lawfully and respectfully. Do not:

Camera and device access

The measuring feature needs your device camera (and often motion sensors) in the browser. Camera video stays on your device for the live preview; it is not uploaded by this app for measuring. You can deny permissions; measuring will not work without them.

Intellectual property

The Site’s design, text, and code are provided for your personal or business use of Pitch Finder. Do not copy the Site wholesale to run a competing clone without permission. You may link to roofpitchfinder.com.

Disclaimer

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operator disclaims warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted access. Roof pitches, quotes, and follow-up contacts are not guaranteed.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Site, incorrect pitch estimates, or any quote-related communication. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits; in those places, liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.

Privacy

How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
